Bob Dylan Essay Contest
On the occasion of Bob Dylan winning the Nobel Prize in Literature for 2016, Stanford's American Studies Program is sponsoring an essay contest on “The Significance of Bob Dylan.”
The competition is open to any Stanford student (undergraduate or graduate) in any field. The winner of the essay contest will be awarded $500 and a copy of the book, Bob Dylan, The Lyrics: 1961-2012. Honorable mentions will also be awarded (and will receive a copy of the book). Submit essays of up to 1500 words by 5 PM on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 to rmeisels [at] stanford.edu (rmeisels[at]stanford[dot]edu)
