Dear American Studies community,

We are overjoyed to announce that Beth Kessler, Advanced Lecturer and Program Coordinator in American Studies, has won a Lecturers Award for Distinguished Contributions to Teaching and Undergraduate Education—a major new University award inaugurated this year!

There will be a public reception honoring the award recipients in the Fall (more details to follow), but we couldn’t wait to share this wonderful news and to applaud Beth for all she contributes to American Studies and to undergraduate education at Stanford more broadly. Congratulations, Beth!
