Stanford launches Asian American Art Initiative with Marci Kwon as co-director

The Cantor Center has announced the launch of the Asian American Art Initiative, which aims to establish Stanford as a leading academic and curatorial center for the study of Asian American and Asian diaspora artists.  American Studies faculty member Marci Kwon, who has been a crucial figure in developing the Initiative, will serve as a founding co-director.
