In recognition of Ms. Magazine’s efforts to put the issue of reproductive justice before the public for 50 years, American Studies is planning a very exciting symposium this spring (May 1, 4pm-5:30) with Ms. Magazine on “The Past and Future of Reproductive Justice in America.”

Kathy Spillar, Executive Editor of Ms. and Executive Director of the Feminist Majority Foundation, will be moderator, and will also speak. The other panelists—a truly distinguished roster of women who are making history—are listed below. The event will also be celebrating the launch of 50 Years of Ms.:The Best of The Pathfinding Magazine which Ignited a Revolution, which just came out this year (and Kathy Spillar will be signing books at a modest reception after the event).
