A Conference in Honor of Estelle Freedman (Panel Sessions)
Please join us at the Stanford Humanities Center on March 11-12, 2022 as we celebrate the work and life of Estelle Freedman; her foundational contributions to the intersectional histories of women, feminisms, and sexuality; and the scholarship she continues to inspire.
The conference will begin late afternoon on Friday with a plenary session exploring the multi-faced contributions of Estelle’s scholarship and mentoring, followed by a community reception. Saturday’s programming will be devoted to three panel sessions featuring the current scholarship of Estelle’s past doctoral students and opportunities to come together as a scholarly community.
